Alex is a junior in Electrical Computer Engineering and Mathematics. In addition to the geekiness that that is a prerequisite for his job, he enjoys backpacking and hiking: this summer, he hiked the John Muir Trail in 21 days. He also has an interest in music, plays Zimbabwean marimba, mbira and cello, and is currently organizing the 2010 Zimbabwean Music Festival to be held in Corvallis from August 20-22.
