The OSL Alliance enables commercial vendors to financially support the expansion of computing infrastructure, hosting services, and software development provided to open source projects. Google, IBM, Real Networks, and TDS Telecom are just some of the donors supporting the OSL's unique role in the open source ecosystem.

The OSL Alliance is a tiered sponsorship program which offers corporate partners escalating benefits for cash or in-kind contributions to the OSL. There are four membership levels in the program:

Platinum
$100,000 Annual Donation

• Customizable naming rights (for internship development project, hardware systems, other).
• Top listing on sponsors web page, large logo and long text description.
• Featured sponsor placement on OSL collateral materials.
• Hosting services for designated project(s).
• Featured sponsor placement on trade show signage.
• Listing on OSL collateral materials.
• Optional press release by OSL.

Gold
$50,000 Annual Donation

• Hosting services for designated project(s).
• Featured sponsor placement on trade show signage.
• Listing on sponsors web page, medium logo and medium text description.
• Listing on OSL collateral materials.
• Optional press release by OSL.

Silver
$25,000 Annual Donation

• Listing on sponsors web page, medium logo and medium text description.
• Listing on OSL collateral materials.
• Included on trade show signage.
• Optional press release by OSL.

Bronze
$10,000 Annual Donation

• Listing on sponsors web page, small logo and short text description.
• Listing on OSL collateral materials.
